Abstract:

A new carbon paste electrode modified with Fe3O4 @ ZnO nanocomposite was used for diclofenac voltammetric investigation. cyclic voltammetry showed the carbon paste electrode modified with Fe3O4@ZnO significantly increased the oxidation current of diclofenac compared to the unmodified carbon paste electrode. Cyclic voltammetric study at different pH and scan speeds showed that the mechanism of diclofenac oxidation was irreversible under the process of diffusion and transfer of two electrons. Under optimal conditions, a linear concentration range for diclofenac 3 × 10-9– 1.0 × 10-6 M with a detection limit of 5 × 10-10 M was obtained.
