Environmental pollution is one of the most important problems that human beings face and due to the increase in population and the expansion of industries, the importance of controlling environmental pollution and preventing its exponential growth is felt more than ever. Problems with biologically non-biodegradable pollutants have led humans to identify different ways to reduce or eliminate them. For a long time, various processes have been implemented to remove harmful environmental pollutants in water, soil, air, wastewater, which have not had a very good efficiency. At present, treatment methods in different phases are divided into three methods: physical, chemical and biological; Each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages. Among the new methods that have been used for this purpose in recent decades, we can mention such things as nanotechnology, photocatalytic technologies, phytoremediation, oxidation, etc. In this article, we give a brief description of monitoring and eliminating environmental pollutants in the air.
