Abstract:

Today, along with the development of pharmaceutical science and the advent of chemical drugs, human awareness of the side effects of chemical drugs has also increased, and this has led to an increase in people's tendency to traditional medicine and the use of herbal medicines. Cinnamon belongs to the fragrant leaf family, which is one of the plants with medicinal properties. The benefits of cinnamon include anti-inflammatory, lowering blood sugar, increasing the body's immunity against cancer, heart attack and disinfection of the body. Also, the antioxidants in cinnamon, due to their anti-inflammatory properties, reduce the risk of cancer and heart attack and improve brain function. The special ingredients in cinnamon can lower bad blood cholesterol (LDL) and keep good blood cholesterol (HDL) constant. These substances can also lower blood pressure, which is an important cause of heart attacks. Cinnamon is also effective in preventing bleeding by helping blood cells to coagulate. Other benefits of cinnamon include its effect on increasing blood circulation and speeding up the healing of damaged parts of the body. According to the obtained results, it can be concluded that cinnamon plant due to its abundant antioxidant and antimicrobial properties and high maintenance, as well as having anti-diabetic properties, strengthening the reproductive system and reducing blood lipid levels, while being cheap and abundant. It can be widely used in food industry and medical operations of this family of aromatic medicinal plants and it is necessary to conduct more extensive research in this regard.
