Abstract:
The current study aimed to investigate the attitudes of medical sciences English for academic purposes instructors towards the use of computer-assisted language learning in EAP courses. As a result, 80 language and content medical sciences EAP instructors were asked to complete the related questionnaire. Following that, ten instructors answered the interview questions. The mean values showed the participants' positive attitudes towards implementing CALL in EAP courses in universities of medical sciences. The results of the interviews also confirmed the quantitative findings of the questionnaires. The EAP instructors also complained about different challenges to the implementation of CALL in their classes. The results have various implications for developing EAP materials and designing EAP courses for the students of medical sciences.
