Wettability alteration of reservoir rocks towardwater-wet, is an effective way for increasing oil recovery. Thewettability of, originally water-wet reservoir rock can be altered bythe adsorption of polar compounds and/or the deposition of organicmaterial that was originally in the crude oil. This study presentssome methods of wettability alteration and effects of them on EOR.
