NUMERICAL INVESTIGATION AND STRUCTURAL REHABILITATION OF THE PANTOKRATOR CISTERN IN ISTANBUL

It was built in the 12th century by 2nd ioannes komnemos the byzantine emperor . The roof system consists of cross masonry vaults which are supported by unreinforced masonry buttresses. buttresses are connected to each other by timber ties.
