application of finite -element method to check the yielding shear panel device for passive energy dissipation

considering the increasing use of passive energy dissipation devices inour country essential that more theoritical and empirical studies done in this regard for this purpose this study examines the behavior of yielding shear panel device has been discussed for device modeling of finite element software ansys is used . to compare results with results from previous laboratory researchers also discussed.
