composite steel plate wall CSPSW can be characterized as an appropriate seismic system for high rise buildings . Ineffect this system is similar to stiffened steel plate shear wall SPSW in which reinforced concrete RC with minimum thickness and bar connected to plate by bolt has been used in lieu of welded steel stiffener . in this research an experimental study including four one bay and three story specimens examined the behaviour of stiffened SPSW by high strength concrete under cyclic load.
