Abstract:

In this research, surface hydrophobic technology that is inspired by nature has been introduced. Hydrophobic surfaces are widely used in recent research as well as in industrial applications such as textiles, automobiles, buildings, solar cells, medicine, etc. Therefore, in this article at first, various surface models and the characteristics of the surfaces due to which hydrophobicity create are introduced. Then, ceramic nanomaterials and their applications are introduced and reports in this regard were studied. Among ceramic nanomaterials, silicate materials have been studied due to their unique properties and properties in surface modification to produce hydrophobic surfaces. Silicate materials cause surface hydrophobicity by changing the surface morphology and creating uneven surfaces, due to the reduction of surface energy by surface energyreduction groups.Although several companies have commercialized several products based on hydrophobic coating technology, there is still a lot of potential in this area. So in this article tried to describe the noble methods to improve this technology.
