Abstract:

In this work, TiO2/(MWCNT/GO)-g-PCA/PVP nanofibers were fabricated by using multi walled carbon nanotubes-graft-poly citric acid (MWCNT-g-PCA), graphene oxide-graft-poly citric acid (GO-g-PCA) and poly vinyl pyrrolidone (PVP)/Titanium tetra iso propoxide (TTIP) precursors by electrospinning technique. A new novel technique to new three dimensional (3D) materials with beneficial properties has been presented through the integration of MWCNT and graphene into a mixed structure and as a result, new means have been offered for material research. In this research, impact of hybridization of MWCNT and graphene on TiO2 nanofibers has been investigated. The effect ofMWCNT-g-PCA, GO-g-PCA, PVP, TTIP, concentration and electrospinning parameters including distance between collector and needle, feed rate, pH and applied voltage on fiber diameter and morphology were investigated. These nanofibers were calcined at appropriate temperature to form the crystal phase. The hybrid nanofibers were characterized by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermo gravimetric-differential thermal analysis (TG/DTA) and (XRD) analysis.
