خلاصه مقاله:
Due to the spread of Covid 19 disease, the use of the potential of distance nursing in the discussion of education and treatment of this disease is essential and necessary. Assessing nurses' attitudes in using this technology can help health policy makers and planners in developing countries and use this technology's capacity on a large scale to manage and control the disease. Therefore, in this study, we evaluated the attitudes of nurses in this regard. Methods: The present study was a cross-sectional analytical study performed on 65 nurses in Shiraz and Fasa University in 1399. Sampling was easy (available). In order to collect data, a questionnaire was developed electronically and provided to participants through social networks. This questionnaire consists of 21 questions and has four sections (demographic information, familiarity with distance nursing technology, the impact of this technology on education patients, and the extent of the impact on patients' treatment). Three medical informatics specialists confirmed the validity of the questionnaire. Data were analyzed in SPSS software version 24 using descriptive statistics, paired t-test, and Pearson correlation test. Results: In this study, 66% of the participants were female, 60% were under 30 years old, and 85% were undergraduates. 62% of nurses were familiar with medium to high distance nursing technology. Overall, nurses believed that telemedicine technology was useful in both treatment and education. However, the effect of this technology in education is more than treatment (p <0.05). According to the results of this study, telemedicine has the most significant impact on providing psychiatric services to educate patients and education on how to prevent the spread of the disease and the least impact on monitoring the patient's vital signs, use of wearable devices and video conferencing tools to meet the patient There can be treated. Also, there was no significant relationship between nurses' attitudes and their familiarity with distance nursing technology (p> 0.05, r = 0.071).Conclusion: This study showed that nurses' attitudes toward telemedicine technology are positive, so health policymakers and planners in developing countries must review and update the technology infrastructure and this technology's capacity on a large scale. Use to manage and control the disease.
