Abstract:

Using cloud computing in hospitals, it is possible to provide quality health care services at a lower cost. This study aimed to investigate the factors affecting the acceptance of cloud computing in teaching hospitals of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences. Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in the first half of 1397. 278 samples were calculated using Cochran's formula. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire that was confirmed by calculating the reliability (r = 0.84) and validity of the questionnaire. This questionnaire consisted of 45 questions in the form of five dimensions of support for senior managers (3 questions), technology (13 questions), organizational (8 questions), environmental (4 questions), and willingness to use this technology with three questions. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS software version 25 and presented in descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Spearman, Pearson correlation tests). Results: The factors of tendency to use cloud computing technology (3.20 1 1.19), environmental (3.31 85 0.85), human (3.25 71 0.71), organizational (16 - 0.81), respectively. / 3) and technology (2.97 42 0.42) were the most effective factors on the acceptance of cloud computing technology from the perspective of nurses. Strong and positive correlation between the factors of "willingness to use cloud computing technology" with "environmental" (P-value = 0.00, r = 0.52) and also between "organizational" and "environmental" factors (P-value = 0.00). = 58, / 0 r =).Conclusion: In general, the readiness of nurses to accept cloud computing technology was assessed in terms of environmental factors and users' willingness to use this technology at the desired level and in terms of human, technological and organizational at a relatively desirable level. The complexity of cloud computing technology, lack of support from senior managers of the organization, and insufficient resources are the main challenges facing cloud computing technology. Therefore, holding courses to justify technology at different levels of the organization and convincing senior managers of the need to use it to support it and provide the necessary financial resources seems necessary.
