Abstract:
One of the major challenges of the supply chain’s managers is to select the best suppliers among all possible ones for their business. Although there are a lot of papers on supplier selection with regards to green, sustainability criteria, the agile supplier selection has been rare studied in the literature. To cover this gap, this study aims at investigating the green-agile supplier selection problem in type-2 fuzzy environment. In this way, at first, a case study in water heater industry is selected, then we identify the main criteria of green-agile supplier selection, and then apply the type-2 fuzzy best-worst method to ranking the obtained criteria. The obtained results show that the most important criteria is Material cost and the least important criteria is Future technology development.
