Abstract:

Nowadays, firms are under pressure from the societies and the governments to reduce their pollutant emissions from their operations. In this paper, we propose a mathematical programming model for uncapacitated facility location optimization model with customer order preferences considering greenaspects. we consider a bilevel approach where in the upper level, a firm(leader) attempts to determine the optimal sites to locate facilities. It aims to minimize two objective functions of financial cost and pollutant emission simultaneously. In the lower level, customers(followers) optimize their preferences considering the facilities which will serve them. Then, we use NSGA-II, to solve this type of problem.Finally, the algorithm is tested on some small-dimensional problems. Computational results show that NSGA-II algorithm is capable of solving the problems efficiently and effectively.
