Abstract:

The current study aimed to investigate and compare language and content English for academic purposes instructors’ teaching anxiety. To this end, 50 EAP instructors were asked to complete the Teaching Anxiety Scale. The results of an independent sample t-test revealed no significant differences between the two groups of EAP instructors interms of their teaching anxiety. The findings carry pedagogical implications for EAP teacher education courses and lowering their teaching anxiety in order to enhance the students’ achievement in EAP courses.
