Abstract:

Since currently, more enterprises are seeking flexible ways in achieving their comprehensive goals, the inter-organizational projects have been increasingly changed into important items for achieving this goal, especially in the environments under drastic change. The goal of this research is to study “the effects of quality management activities on the performance of the inter-organizational projects by attention to the modifying role of contract trust and governance”. The research methodology is applied in terms of goal and descriptive-survey in terms of nature and method. The statistical population of the research were the managers of 395 companies who worked with the Civil Development Organization of Tehran in improving urban spaces and passages. A sample was consisting of 195 persons and their opinions were collected by a 46- itemquestionnairesand wereassessed. To test the hypotheses, the Structural Equations Modelling by P.L.S. Smart software was used after converting the research hypothesisinto the statistical hypothesis. The results have shown the person-core quality management had positive effects on the performance of inter-organizational projects of the civil development Organization of TehranMunicipality in 0.285 degree and the process-core quality management had 0.487 positive effects on the performance of the inter-organizational projects of Tehran Municipality. In addition, the person-core quality management had positive effects on the performance of inter-organizational projects of the civil development Organization of TehranMunicipality by trust modifying role had 0.307 effects; however, the process-core quality management had 0.487 positive effects on the performance of the inter-organizational projects of Tehran Municipality by trust modifying role was 0.319 effective.
