Abstract:

Background: Covid_19 disease has significant psychological effects on the mental health ofpeople, especially medical staff and patients. Stress, anxiety, and depression make coping moredifficult. The purpose of this study is to systematically determine the psychological effects ofCovid_19 on mental health.Material and Methods: A systematic review study obtained by reviewing articles andsearching for keywords mental health, psychological reactions, crisis, virus, corona, epidemicsin reputable domestic and international scientific research bases such as PubMed, SID, Scopus,Google Scholar, WHO, IranMedex, Magiran., Obtained over ten years from 2010 to thepresent. By systematically reviewing 478 articles during different stages and eliminating caseswith less relevance, finally, 28 articles were reviewed and analyzed.Results: Findings from the review of articles showed that in general, in crises caused by theprevalence of diseases, indicators of response to psychological disorders such as depression,panic attacks, anxiety, despair, stress, severe obsession, increased stress Sensitivity, anger,sleep and wakefulness disorders, fear of infection, isolationism, negative deterrent thoughtsand beliefs, the tendency to false therapies, prevalence of superstitions, receiving incorrectinformation, increase significantly.Conclusions: A review of the mentioned results in studies related to the subject showed thatthe prevalence of crises and long-term persistence in people's lives, gradually and chronicallyhave profound effects on mental balance and with a decrease in mental health causes longinstability As time goes on, getting rid of these disorders is not easy and requires different andappropriate treatments for a long time. Therefore, by allocating special and earlypsychoanalysis services, we can play an important and significant role in preventing theoccurrence of psychological disorders and shortening the treatment period, and maintainingmental health.
