Investigate the effects of grazing treatments on the factors plant and some soil physical properties

The rangeland utilization such as animals grazing can alters the properties of soil, which that of are important in the creating better conditions for the plant growth and affects on the plants factors. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the effect of grazing treatments on the plant factors and some soil physical properties. At present study, four treatments were selected including non grazing, 50% of grazing capacity, equal of grazing capacity and twice of grazing capacity after identifying homogeneous units using geological maps, topographic, geomorphologic and field visits. Grazing treatments were identified according to vegetation cover changes, distance to water, distance from village and grazing numbers. Using four 100m transects, sampling random - systematically from the soil and vegetation were taken. Results showed different grazing treatments were affected on the plant factors such as density, production, canopy, litter and palatability and also soil physical properties. So that had significant differences each other at the level of 1%. In fact, the results showed have been reduced cover, production, density, litter, plant palatability, aggregate stability, porosity and have been increase in the soil bulk density by increasing in the grazing intensity.
