خلاصه مقاله:
The iris has abundant vasculatures, and vasculatures present in it have a vital role in delivering oxygen and necessary nutrients to the various parts of the eye, including lens etc. These high vasculatures of iris have important role in eye inflammation. In addition, irregularities in the blood flow of the iris will disrupt the oxygenation to other parts of the eye and cause various diseases of the iris and eye. Iris diseases are wide and diverse and their diagnosis is precise and sensitive work, and sometimes making mistake in their diagnosis can endanger the vision of individual, so accurate diagnosis and identification of iris diseases is of high value. One of these accurate and sensitive methods is the evaluation of the vasculatures in the iris and the examination of the vasculatures pattern and associating observed pattern of iris vasculatures with iris diseases. The changes in the vasculatures of some parts in iris and changing its pattern compared to other iris parts can indicate the disease in that part of the iris. Therefore, by identifying, the pattern of iris vasculatures complete information about iris diseases cannot be found and it can be found by categorizing the type of pattern into the disease type, however various specialized experiments can be of help in this regard. In this article, the method for identifying vasculatures patterns and their use in identifying iris diseases has been addressed.
