Abstract:

This paper presents a mathematical model of immunotherapy of bladdercancer, and then examines the optimal control approach. Bladder Vaccine hasbeen used for immunotherapy of bladder cancer and BCG has been used as astimulant of immune cells against BCG-infected tumor cells, have beenstudied in this model. The main goal of this optimal control strategy is to findthe optimal dosage amount needed in each instillation of BCG where the finaltime is considered fixed. All numerical simulations in MATLAB have beenperformed for without control of BCG vaccine Concentration and controlBCG vaccine concentrations.
