Abstract:
A photonic crystal nanocavity defect mode is studied in this paper. FDTD based simulation results indicate that doping the nanocavity with dielectric materials such as silicon, silica, and GaAs affects the defect mode of the photonic crystal nanocavity considering the localized optical field intensity and distribution.
