Methods of wheelchair performance evaluation analysis

In this paper, the methods and tools of wheelchair performance analysis are reviewed and reported. The sources used in thisresearch are papers published in the period ۲۰۰۰ to ۲۰۲۰ that have been published in Scopus, ISI, Google Scholar andMEDLINE databases.Almost all studies on traditional wheelchairs and spinal cord injuries have been performed on treadmills with motion analysismanual wheelchairs and recording powered wheelchair activity or a dynamometer.It seems that providing a standard framework in functional and biomechanical evaluations can have a significant impact onimproving the qualitative and quantitative level of effectiveness of such studies.It also seems that increasing the number of studies on powered wheelchairs and intelligent wheelchairs is one of the conceptsneeded to be considered by scientists and researchers so that they can evaluate the technical and functional characteristics ofthese devices to meet the needs and conditions of clients and evaluate the extent of this adaptation.
