Abstract:

Over the past year, the COVID-19 pandemic has become the biggest challenge for the human. Thisplague's negative effect on people's health, social relation, and economy is evident to everyone.Mental disorders, especially sleep disorders, are one of the consequences of COVID-19. Somestudies declared that a significant number of COVID-19 survivors might experience some sleepdisorders. In this paper, the impact of individuals' characteristics and COVID-19 symptoms on sleepdisorder has been investigated and a dataset of 110 survivors of COVID-19 has been collected. Fourclassification algorithms (Neural Network, Support Vector Machine, Logistic Regression and Knearest-neighbor) are applied on a dataset in which 10-Fold cross-validation is used to create themodels. Accuracy, Sensitivity, and Specificity are used as metrics to evaluate the model'sperformances. Based on the results, Neural Networks and Logistic Regression achieved the bestresults, including Accuracy= 92.85%, Sensitivity= 93.33%, and specificity= 92.30%.
