Throughout history, geometric patterns have an important role in historic Islamic art and architecture of Iran.Today we have unprecedented ability to understand ornamental styles of the past, to recreate traditional designs, and to innovate with new interpretations of old styles and with new styles altogether. Finding appropriate patterns for space structures and building envelops, through Parametric development of Islamic geometry, can bring out the advantages of golden-age Iranian architecture from dark side of history to modern digital architecture.In this paper, the possibilities of design a multifunctional envelope inspired of the patterns have been described and the architectural, structural and environmental parameters are explained.
