خلاصه مقاله:
Nowadays, climate is considered as one of the formation bases of Iranian architecture; and, the environment, fossil energies saving and sustainable development have turned to very important and prevalent topics, internationally. That is, maintenance of energy resources, preventing the earth and the environment from being polluted, reducing consumption level of fossil energies and coexistence with natural and climate conditions have turned to one of the most important considerations in architecture and urbanization in a way that architects and urbanists are required to observe certain rules and regulations in the field of building construction. Unfortunately, this important task for which mainly architects are responsible has been forgotten. Regardless of the effect imposed by formulation of architectural rules and precision used in urban design in terms of maximum usage made of day light; attention paid by architects and their efforts in relation to maximum usage made of natural light will provide optimization sector of energy consumption with special power. Nowadays, one of the basic problems in human life is excessive consumption of energy. About ۴۰% of energy used by human beings is used in buildings. So, buildings are the biggest threat in respect of energy resources. Using day light in designing buildings is a solution to save energy.
