an Audio-magnetotelluric (AMT) data set recorded at ۱۹ stations along a profile in the southeastern simply folded belt (SFB) of central Zagros is investigated for the first time in this study. Investigations were aimed at determining the subsurface electrical resistivity structure and delineating the dip and direction of major bounding faults. Dimensionality and distortion analysis of the measurements show that data represent regional ۱D and ۲D structures with local galvanic distortion, at most periods. A ۲D joint inversion of TE, TM, and tipper data reveals the overall conductivity structure of the shallow sedimentary cover.
