Abstract:
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of Skills Development Package on teaching self-efficacy and scientific literacy of elementary school teachers. Findings showed that the results of the tests were not statistically significant. By analyzing the results of a group of participants who did better in content knowledge, it was assumed that the level of their knowledge can be effective in Scientific Literacy. In the second study, which resulted from the first one, the findings showed that teachers’ content knowledge level is effective in influencing teachers' scientific literacy training as well as teaching self-efficacy.
