Abstract:

FRP rebar is a composite product that replaces steel rebars And significantly prevents damage from rebar corrosion in corrosive and acidic environments. Use FRP rebar in places where there is no need for problems with proximity to electric and magnetic fields, It is the best option for reinforcing concrete. This product due to its good resistance to the attack of sulfates and chlorides, as well as its good resistance to corrosion and rust, it has been widely used. Therefore, in order to reduce the cost of repairing offshore structures that are exposed to the corrosive environment of the sea and due to the gradual loss of concrete cover, steel bars are destroyed. Polymer reinforced fibers (frp) have very good strength and behavioral properties for use in reinforcement and seismic design of structures. The weight of these fibers is ۲۰% by weight of steel, while they have more than ۱۰ times the tensile strength of steel.
