The role of academic counselor in the success of high school students in the entrance exam

Academic counseling is very important for parents and their children because of the important role it plays in the success or failure of students in their educational and career path.In general, the task of the academic counselor is: academic guidance, teaching study and learning skills, solving the problem of academic failure, stress and anxiety of exams, eliminating abnormal behaviors, providing solutions to solve mental and psychological problems and finally paving the way for students. To succeed in education, especially in a field of interest in good universities in the country.Through academic counseling, students' abilities and limitations can be identified and the available facilities can be used to the maximum. Student counseling can guide students to the right field of study by accurately identifying their talents and abilities. The educational counselor, in collaboration with the teacher, family, and school officials, can help students resolve academic, family, and emotional problems, and ultimately achieve educational goals.
