Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of training anxiety and stress management skills (cognitive-behavioral) on the reduction of anxiety and anger in conditional students. The statistical population included all of the conditioned university students. The sample consisted of ۳۰ probation students, ۱۵ experimental group and ۱۵ control group who were selected by available sampling method. The instruments used in this research included Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) ۱۹۹۰ with validity and validity of ۰.۹۲, ۰.۷۵ and Welsh's Interrogations Questionnaire (MWQ) ۱۹۹۷ with validity and validity of ۰.۸۸, ۰.۷۹. For the experimental intervention (stress management skills training), the training package Saramak Immar (۲۰۰۱) was used for ۸ sessions of ۹۰ minutes. Data were analyzed using descriptive methods and inferential statistics methods including covariance analysis (MANCOVA), which was performed using SPSS-۲۱ software. Anxiety and stress management (cognitive-behavioral) skills training was significantly related to the reduction of anxiety and anesthesia in conditioned students.
