Design of Khane Honarmandan* Building in Arak (Adapted from the Master's Thesis)

The technique and art of architecture is one of the most important features of the culture of every nation and people in every historical period. The art, as a broad and comprehensive subject in the socio-cultural-economic field, acts as a communication strategy and mechanism between human beings, to convey the concepts of emotions and messages of artists to art audiences. The Khane Honarmandan (artist’s house) is a cultural and artistic place where the artist can express his mental concerns in the form of various ideas and concepts in the format of an Artwork. It also enables communication between artists and the exchange of information and raises the level of public information of the people, and thus meets a part of the needs of artists in society. In addition to the specialized sections of the Khane Honarmandan (artist’s house), sections such as the library with the focus on artistic resources, shops, cinemas, museums, galleries, coffee shops and amphitheaters, in a favorable environment, in the Arak in the “Shahre Sanati area”.it has the ability to serve a significant part of the community artists. This descriptive-analytical study examines the factors influencing the design of The Khane Honarmandan in Arak and offers solutions in this regard.
