خلاصه مقاله:
The mines' environmental conditions greatly influence the productivity, safety, and production of underground mines. Therefore, uninterrupted monitoring of the hazardous and complex mining area is necessary to guarantee safe production. Also, several accidents happen in underground mines due toroof and side falls, the unexpected emission of dangerous gases, inundation, fire in mine, etc. Hence, the prediction and monitoring of risks in underground mines are necessary for developing minimum safety required of miner and productivity. Accordingly, it is essential to use smart mining based onthe Internet of things (IoT) to control underground mines using for improving the production of minerals and decreasing events in underground mines. Internet of things (IoT) is employed to remote monitoring process for overcoming the uncertainty and complexity of coal mines in monitoring andWireless Sensor Network (WSN) system is extensively applied to monitor work environment and different phases in coal underground mining. This research describes essential techniques in IoTbased and provides the advantage of the IoT in various underground mining operations
