The comparative study of the concept of breach of contracts in the CISG and the UCC

Nowadays the commercial transactions and trade is to be integrated and formed based on uniform regulations to ensure that the parties will be able to take advantage of their business relationships and their goals will be met in its best. The USA as one of the countries that has an outstanding position and role in world economy and international business has done a very notable effort to create a uniform commercial code to facilitate and regulate the commercial and financial activities in all states. Not only the USA but the UNCITRAL has tried to create comprehensive regulations to facilitate and regulate the international sale of goods between the countries by recognizing the CISG. This paper has tried to analyze the structure of the UCC and the CISG and their relationship with each other and has put emphasis on the concept of breach of contract to make sure that it will be possible to assume that the UCC was a pattern for the CISG to be drafted and play a major role and be applied in international business contracts not only in the USA but also in and between the other countries.
