خلاصه مقاله:
In the present study, the health status of the Kani Barazan wetland, one of the Iranian Ramsar sites of international importance, is assessed via the ESCOM's wetland classification and risk assessment index (WCRAI). Water quality in the Kani Barazan wetland is monitored with a real-time monitoring station that was established as part of the Conservation of Iranian Wetlands Project (CIWP). The station is equipped with several hydrological instruments and water quality multi-parameter sensors. Automatically and manually collected data, including several physicochemical parameters of water and physical characteristics of the wetland, were used to evaluate the wetland health condition. The results indicated that the wetland undergoes harsh situations during warm periods of the year, but the overall wetland health status remains above the average level
