خلاصه مقاله:
The linear gradient theory (LGT) by applying volume translated Peng-Robinson equations of state (VTPR EOS) has been utilized to predict the interfacial tension of the methane–water system 296.5, 373 and 473 Kelvin and different pressures. The pure component influence parameters and the binary interaction coefficient for the mixture influence parameter used for this system according to work of Schmidt et al. The model was successfully applied to predict interfacial tension data. The results support the success of the linear gradient theory modeling approach for this system. There is a good agreement between experimental and calculated interfacial tensions.
