reducing dioxane levels by vaccum type neutralization

dioxane is the undesirable by- product known a carcinogenic substace in sulfation process . The amount of dioxane ranges from traces to hundreds even thoudands ppm depending on raw material quality and sulphonation/ neutralization process condition. vacuum type neutralization has many advantages that reducing of dioxane level up to 10ppm in neutralized product through the dryex system is most important. the dryex system operates as a stripper of the H2O/dioxane mixture being the physical and chemical characteristics of dioxane allow its removal from water solution at reduced pressure with relative ease.
