Abstract:
In this work proton exchange membranes based on sulfonated poly (phthalazinone ether ketone) and melamine-based dendrimer amines functionalized SBA-۱۵ mesoporous silica have been prepared. The prepared membranes displayed a high proton conductivity of ۱۲۵ mS/cm at ۸۰ °C. The high fuel cell performance, ۰.۴۸ W cm-۲ power density at ۰.۵ V (۸۰ °C and ۹۰% RH), of the membranes confirm their great potential for use in the PEMFCs.
