The Parameteric Study of Solar Desalination Pond Performance

Experiments are held to optimize the effective parameters in performance of the solar pond which isequipped by Nano plate as bottom of the pond. Main parameters such as the insolation rate, mean amountof produced potable water, average temperature of solar pond layers, viscosity, density, maximum andminimum amount of produced sweet water are surveyed in this work. Comparison between the amountsof evaporation rate in Nano plate equipped solar pond and usual solar pond show ۲۰% increase in theamount of evaporation rate.
