خلاصه مقاله:
The aim of this study is to investigate EFL learners' attitudes towards reinforcement in writing in EFL setting. The research is designed to study the differences in learners' attitudes in term of their gender towards reinforcement in writing. To this end, a ۲۰-item self-made questionnaire on five-point Likert scale was distributed among ۵۰ students who were studying at Ahwaz Azad University. The data collected from the questionnaire showed positive attitudes of students towards reinforcement in writing in EFL setting. However, no considerable difference was observed between male and female learners' attitudes towards reinforcement. The results revealed that gender has no significant role in specifying and shaping learners' attitudes and understandings towards reinforcement in learning processes and corporation with other learners. In addition, it has been viewed that there is a direct relationship between learners' success in writing and teachers' positive or negative reinforcements in language classes.
