Abstract:

In recent years, the development of digital, multimedia and social networking technologies has changed our lives. Education in general and the field of teaching and learning foreign languages have also benefited greatly from these developments. As a result, the face of language learning is changing, and new technologies are providing unimaginable tools and opportunities for language learners and teachers. The present study examined the effectiveness of using the Instagram® social media network in teaching English pronunciation to EFL Iranian language learners. Participants in this study included ۳۰ Iranian language learners (in two experimental groups (N = ۱۴) and control (N = ۱۶)) who received different treatments during four weeks. The pre-test and post-test results showed that the pronunciation of the participants in the experimental group significantly improved compared to the control group, but we can improve the pronunciation of patients in the experimental group from the post-test delay that was performed four weeks later. We did not pay attention. Next. The results of the present study showed that the use of social media networks in teaching language features can be very effective and promising.
