Quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) is a new computation model without transistors that addresses the issues of CMOS-based technologies such as density. Therefore, it is one of the emerging nanotechnologies likely to supersede conventional transistor-based technologies. On the other hand, to design any logical circuit, employing decoders is very common. It is a hybrid circuit that matches 'n' input lines to the ۲n output lines. Since other circuits may use the output lines in the system, the effects of fault can be severe. Therefore, in this paper, a fault tolerance nano-structure is proposed to design the ۲-to-۴ decoder. The suggested layout was tested using QCADesigner. The obtained results revealed its efficiency and ability in the presence of the fault
