Abstract:

A new Cd(II) nano coordination polymer, {[Cd(DADMBTZ)۲(NO۲)۲]}n (۱), has been synthesized and characterized by IR, ۱H, ۱۳C, ۱۱۳Cd NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and single crystal X-ray determination. The coordination number of cadmium atom in complex is six with coordinated environments of distorted octahedral, CdN۴O۲. In reaction with DADMBTZ, the ligand DADMBTZ acts as bidentate in complex to form five-membered chelate rings with different internal angles in coordination polyhedron. Two mono dentate nitroto ions occupy the equatorial position. As-prepared Cd(II) nano coordination polymer was characterized by X-ray diffraction measurements (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
