Abstract:
Root formation is one of the most important stage in plant micropropagation. It has been proved that auxin plays a major role in determining the capacity of rooting that is required for micropropagation. We have investigated in vitro root formation of MM.۱۱۱ semi-dwarf apple rootstock microshoots subjected to indole-۳-DFHWLF DFLG (,$)' DQG - naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) under ۳۰ days. In this study, the influence of plant growth regulators as a major factor on rooting percentage, root number, and root length were recorded. The results demonstrated that treatment with ۲ mg L-۱ NAA had the most rooting percentage (۹۶%) compared to others. In the case of root number and root length, throughout the present examination, no significant difference was found between the types of hormones. In general, combination ۲ mg L-۱ NAA on half-strong MS medium as the best treatment showed the highest amount of evaluated parameters in MM.۱۱۱.
