Investigating European electricity market law and regulations

In the field of the electricity industry, regulation plays an important role. Regulation is the regulation and monitoring at the level of the electrical system. In the European electricity market, regulation has faced challenges. Under this legal regime, electricity market regulation takes place at boththe national and EU levels. The principles of independence and accountability are found in the national regulatory and regulatory fields at the EU level. Regulatory authorities have many powers and duties. At the EU level, the European Commission and the Agency for the Coordination of EnergyRegulators are the most important electricity market regulators. In addition to these two, there are also informal regulators. Network codes have been approved to increase the domestic electricity market’s efficiency and increase cooperation and coordination between network operators.
