Abstract:
Energy production in the traditional way, namely production, transmission and distribution and consumption, has created a large gap between production and consumption. This increases the energy demand of the manufacturing sector and increases fossil fuel consumption, leading to economic and environmental problems. Various types of renewable energy sources such as solar cells (PV), wind turbines and small water are used as the main energy suppliers in microgrids; Therefore, microgrids can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the power grid and be a solution to the energy crisis and global warming. Today, a renewable energy development program has been announced around the world. Research is expanding day by day as microgrids enable the development of renewable resources. Due to the low inertia of the microgrid equipment compared to the main network, without support from the main network, the control and management of the microgrid in standalone mode is much more complex than the mode connected to the network. Low microgrid inertia increases the problems of maintaining power balance and maintaining microgrid stability. The microgrid will have many benefits for consumers and power generation companies, from the consumer's point of view, such as the simultaneous supply of electricity and heat, increase reliability, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve power quality.
