Simplified analytical three- and multiple vertical line element models (TVLEM and MVLEM) for RC structural walls are briefly reviewed and it is shown that the parameter c which determines the location of the relative rotation center in the MYLEM should be taken as ۰.۵, leading to, essentially, a modified Timoshenko layered beam model. Linear and nonlinear calculation examples are also presented. At last, another multi-slice layered model is shortly introduced
