DESIGN OF BASE ISOLATION SYSTEM FOR EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT MULTISTORIED AND HIGHRISE BUILDINGS

This paper describes the possibility and efficiency of application of base isolation system for earthquake resistant multistoried and highrise buildings, introduces the dynamic analysis and the results of shaking table tests for multistoried and highrise building model, suggests design method of b ase isolation system for earthquake resistant multistoried and highrise buildings to be used in practical engieering design
