Abstract:

This paper contains discussions of earthquake safety with emphasis on the multi-disciplinary areas of social, behavioral and human response characteristics. A model of earthquake hazard mitigation assessment is presented. Human behavior at the personal level and some recommendations for human safety in earthquakes has also been elaborated
