Abstract:

Herein, NH۲-UiO-۶۶ MOF has been green synthesized, in order to provide a suitable and safe platform for drug loading. The MOF was characterized in terms of FESEM, FTIR, and XRD. Then, doxorubicin as the standard drug was encapsulated physically on the porosity of the green MOF. The MOF was fully characterized. Doxorubicin loaded onto the MOFs as well, and the superior drug payload of over ۴۱% was obtained. Furthermore, the MTT assay does not showed any critical cytotoxicity, which is a promising result for further biomedical applications
