Abstract:

Oligonucleotides are short, single- or double-stranded DNA or RNA molecules that are widely applied for quantum dots surface modifications. Here in, the CdTe QDs was modified by replacing the thioglycolic acid (TGA) on the surface of QDs with capture DNA (thiolated DNA) throw a ligand exchange method. More exactly, the interactions between capture DNA and the surface of thioglycolic acid (TGA) capped CdTe QDs explored by using the Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS).
